"After years as a professional guitarist, I had owned and played virtually all of the great guitars. Though each had its strengths and all where good instruments, they where all missing something.
My quest for the perfect guitar helped me to understand that there is no one-size-fits-all guitar or bass. It was that understanding that led me to luthier school and ultimately to start Coen Guitars LLC. I build each guitar and bass specifically for the musician who will play it. It’s like having your own signature model.
