Fun was had by all. There were demonstrations on bending wood, neck shaping, impromptu jam sessions and visitors even got a chance to try winding pickups (which is much harder than it looks).

We had a great turn out and introduced the new CG2 with hand wound Coen Pickups.
Hundreds of people had a rare opportunity to play these world class guitars.
Even though we make instruments for the discerning musician, we always have time to encourage the love of music and guitars in the virtuosos of tomorrow.

Though the Chicago show didn't have a lot of attendance, it was a success for Coen Guitars. Here is what one new Coen Guitar's customer wrote:

I can't describe how much I am in love with my new coen instrument. As soon as I got home, I put strap locks on and played until my fingers stung! Everyone in my band (and friends of the band)commented on how beautiful the sound was...
...commented on how awesome the shape was and how nice the grain was on the
body. ...it will be hard for me to stop playing. It is great knowing you and working
with you. I like the way you speak with your customers and the way you treat them. I look forward to a long, successful realationship with you.

There was a Coen Guitars CB1 Bass on stage during the FORTUNE Battle of the Corporate Band @ Summer NAMM in Nashville, TN. Healthways band Strat5 made it to the finals so, the CB1 Bass will be making music at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH Oct. 3rd.
